Proposal: The Overlook Cafe 3x1.25 metresOil on canvas300 x 125 cm+
This proposal is based on a sketch I made when I was exploring ideas for my commission 'The Last Cafe'. I've put the size here as 3 x 1.25 metres, as I believe it would work best as a 10-foot wide painting, and allow for more detail to be included in the distant landscape, alongside the dark, imposing form of the Cafe. Of course, the Overlook Cafe also references the Overlook Hotel from The Shining film.
I typically ask for 8 months to complete a commissioned painting.
